Richard ORLINSKI

Richard Orlinski is a French artist born in 1966 in Paris. From the start, he surrounded himself with a team of highly qualified technicians. His works of art, designed around the “Born Wild” concept, bear witness to essential values in a resolutely contemporary style, which never gives in to trash, extravagance or the ephemeral.

His works reach a wide audience, including children fascinated by his iconic creations. He has been guest of honor at Art Elysées, Art Paris, Artiferia in Bologna, festivals in Cannes, Deauville, Cabourg.

In 2010, he was ranked second most sold contemporary French artist in France by Art Price and two of his works were among the 10 highest auctions of 2011.

Richard Orlinski sculpts to sublimate reality and create living, beautiful and timeless works of art, which arouse emotion in the eyes of others. Deeply rooted in his time, Richard Orlinski mainly uses contemporary materials such as resin and aluminum, but also marble, stone and bronze.

The challenge of Richard Orlinski through the “Born Wild” concept consists in transforming negative vital impulses into positive emotions, to pass from the primordial instinct to the civilized emotion. The vectors of this metamorphosis are the aesthetics of the work, the quest for perfection of the sculptor and the perception of the viewer. As a supporter of art accessible to all, Richard Orlinski draws from popular imagery icons that serve his purpose. He creates works of art that act on our impulses, on our archaisms.
